Free email writing tools

Updated October 15, 2026.

Four small tools that write part of an email for you: a first draft, a reply, a cleaner version of something you wrote, or a few subject lines. They are free, need no sign-in and do not store what you type. They run on an AI model, so read what they write before you send it.

Which tool do you need?

  • Email generator: say what the email should do and who it is to, and get a complete draft with a greeting and a sign-off.
  • Reply generator: paste the email you received, add the points you want to make, and get a reply.
  • Email rewriter: paste your draft and make it clearer, shorter, friendlier, more professional or more direct, or only fix the spelling.
  • Subject line generator: paste an email or describe it and get five subject lines to pick from.

What happens to what you type?

  • It is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI, an AI model that writes the answer, and the answer comes back to this page. Nothing else is done with it.
  • Donezo Inbox does not store what you type or what comes back, does not write either to its logs, and does not keep a cache of them. A request is counted, and the count is tied to a scrambled version of your network address, not to the address.
  • This tool does not read your mailbox and does not need you to sign in. Paste only what you are comfortable sending to an AI service.
  • The page loads the same analytics script as the rest of this site. It records page views, never the text in these boxes.

What are the limits?

  • A few tries an hour for each visitor, and a daily limit shared by everyone. When the day's limit is used up the tool says so and tries again the next day.
  • Short inputs (about 2,000 characters in all) and short answers. For long threads, use the app.
  • The answer is written by an AI model and can be wrong or flat. It is told not to invent names, dates, prices or attachments and to leave a [placeholder] instead, but you must read it and check every detail before you send it.

How is this different from Donezo Inbox?

These tools write from what you paste into a box. Donezo Inbox is the email client itself: a Gmail client with an assistant that drafts replies in your tone, labels what needs an answer and never sends on its own. Pro is $29/year (about $2.42 a month), one yearly plan with no monthly option. The email client is free for one inbox.

Donezo works with Gmail and Google Workspace only. It has no Outlook or IMAP support, no shared inbox or assignment, no meeting notes and no scheduling links.

Questions

Are these tools really free?

Yes. There is no sign-in and no payment. Each visitor gets a few tries an hour and the tools share a daily limit, which is what keeps them free.

Do you keep what I type?

No. Donezo Inbox does not store it, does not write it to its logs and does not cache it. It is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to write the answer.

Can I use what the tool writes in my email?

Yes. It is yours to edit and send. Check the facts first: an AI model can get details wrong.

Why did the tool stop answering?

Either you used your tries for this hour, or the day's shared limit was reached. Both are friendly stops: try again later, or use the app.

Want this inside your inbox?

Pro is $29/year (about $2.42 a month), one yearly plan with no monthly option. The email client is free for one inbox. It writes in your own tone, inside Gmail.
