About Donezo Inbox

Updated October 15, 2026. Competitor prices read from the vendors' own pages on October 15, 2026.

Donezo Inbox was founded by Ankur Shrestha (ankur.works). It is a fast, keyboard-first email client for Gmail and Google Workspace, with an opt-in assistant that sorts, drafts and follows up, and a connector so Claude and Codex can work across your inboxes. It is in early access: free for one inbox, with Pro at $29/year.

Who builds Donezo Inbox?

Donezo Inbox was founded by Ankur Shrestha, who works on product development and AI search (see ankur.works). Questions, corrections and security reports go to ankur@kmfv.cc.

What the product commits to: a free client for one inbox, one yearly Pro price, AI you can point at your own key or model, an assistant that is off by default and never sends, and comparison pages that say what Donezo does not do.

What is Donezo Inbox?

A Gmail client built around the keyboard: a split inbox, snooze in plain words, send later, undo send and reminders that bring a thread back when nobody replied. The assistant is off until you switch it on, labels mail, pre-writes drafts in your tone and never sends anything on its own. Your mail stays in Gmail.

The email client is free for one inbox, and AI is free if you bring your own key, a model on your computer or Chrome's built-in model. See pricing.

What does it not do?

Donezo works with Gmail and Google Workspace only. It has no Outlook or IMAP support, no shared inbox or assignment, no meeting notes and no scheduling links.

Where does it stand today?

It is early access. Sign-in goes through Google, and until Google finishes verifying the app, sign-up is limited. We are in the process of getting SOC 2 and working through Google's security assessment. Read what we store, how it is protected and what we are still closing, and see the privacy policy and terms.

How are the comparison pages made?

Donezo Inbox publishes pages that compare it with Superhuman, Fyxer, Shortwave, SaneBox and others, so the rules matter. Every competitor price and plan detail is read from the vendor's own page on a stated date and linked beside the figure. If a page does not show a number, the page says so instead of guessing. Screenshots are of Donezo Inbox's own demo mailbox, which uses sample data. We say what Donezo does not do on the same page, and we do not claim to have tested or benchmarked other products. To report a mistake, email us; see the value index for the full dataset and correction policy.
